Sevenoaks Shakespeare to perform at the 2025 Sevenoaks Climate Fair

Sevenoaks Shakespeare is proud to announce its participation in the upcoming Sevenoaks Climate Fair, taking place on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at the Vine Gardens. This free, family-friendly event, organised by the Sevenoaks Climate Action Network (Sevenoaks CAN), aims to empower the community to take meaningful steps toward sustainability.

As part of the fair's diverse line-up of activities, we will present a special performance of a short montage of Shakespeare scenes from 12.35pm to 1pm, and will also be promoting our upcoming summer production of Much Ado About Nothing, to be performed at the White Rock Inn, Underriver from 26th June – 6th July 2025.

Sevenoaks Shakespeare is proud to be one of the first amateur theatre groups in the country to adopt the Theatre Green Book standards, leading the way in producing sustainable theatre and bringing Shakespeare to a modern, environmentally-conscious audience. This work reflects a commitment not only to cultural heritage but also to the future of the planet.

The Climate Fair will feature over 30 stalls, offering insights into eco-friendly living, sustainable products, and local environmental initiatives. Attendees can look forward to interactive workshops, live music, and a variety of food and drink options, all centred around promoting a greener future.
